Location: Pontiac, Michigan

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM, rotating every other weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays and other radiology exams
Position patients accurately to capture high-quality images for physician diagnosis
Maintain a safe and sterile environment following infection control protocols
Operate and maintain radiology equipment, ensuring proper functioning
Document patient histories and imaging details accurately in electronic health records
Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure efficient patient care and workflow

Qualifications

Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Valid state license or certification as a Radiology Technologist
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in radiographic positioning and techniques
Knowledge of radiation safety and protection standards
Excellent patient care and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
