Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations with accuracy and compassion
• Operate X-ray and radiography equipment safely and according to protocols
• Position patients correctly to capture high-quality diagnostic images
• Ensure radiation safety and adhere to ALARA principles for patients and staff
• Maintain clear, timely documentation and imaging records (PACS workflow)
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to support patient care decisions
• Provide exceptional patient care — explain procedures, address concerns, and ensure comfort
• Support registry coverage needs and adapt to schedule changes professionally

Qualifications

• Active RADT credential (Radiologic Technologist) or equivalent certification
• Experience in radiography/X-ray and familiarity with digital imaging
• Registry coverage experience or willingness to provide registry coverage
• Comfort working 10-hour shifts and flexible schedules (Mon-Thu or Mon-Fri)
• BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain prior to start
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams

Education

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (Associate degree or equivalent)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of radiographic positioning and imaging techniques
• Familiarity with PACS, DICOM and digital radiography systems
• Understanding of radiation safety and infection control procedures
• Strong patient care skills, including working with diverse populations
• Good time management and ability to handle registry coverage assignments
