Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic exams with precision and compassion to support excellent patient care
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment safely, following radiation safety protocols
• Position patients and select appropriate imaging techniques to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Work closely with radiologists, technologists, and the care team to ensure accurate results and timely reporting
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging logs while protecting patient privacy
• Respond professionally and effectively when on call, providing dependable imaging services as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of radiologic technologist experience (as listed in the job posting)
• Current NH state Radiologic Technologist license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• ARRT certification or ARRT-eligible preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or willingness to obtain
• Ability to take call and respond as required by the facility
• Strong patient-focused communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a busy department

Education

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of radiographic positioning, imaging protocols, and radiation safety
• Experience operating digital radiography systems and PACS
• Competence in patient assessment, safe lifting/positioning, and infection control practices
• Good documentation skills and familiarity with electronic health record workflows
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with patients of all ages and multidisciplinary teams
