Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients' functional abilities and create individualized rehabilitation plans
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and equipment training
• Monitor progress and modify treatment plans to maximize recovery and avoid surgery when possible
• Supervise and mentor PT Assistants to ensure high-quality patient care
• Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes clearly and timely
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other disciplines to coordinate comprehensive care
• Educate patients and families on home programs and injury prevention strategies

Qualifications

• Oklahoma State Physical Therapy license (required)
• BLS (AHA) certification (required)
• Minimum 2 years hospital-based Physical Therapy experience (required)
• Recent traveler experience preferred
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Ability to provide work history and current permanent address as requested by facility
• Willingness to follow facility-specific policies (including orientation and eligibility rules)

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and clinical reasoning in acute/rehabilitation settings
• Rehabilitation planning and therapeutic exercise prescription
• Manual therapy techniques and therapeutic equipment use
• Experience supervising PT Assistants and collaborating with care teams
• Strong documentation skills and outcomes tracking
• Familiarity with hospital workflows and safety protocols
