Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients' functional mobility and implement skilled plan of care as a PTA
• Deliver therapeutic interventions and progress patients toward their mobility and independence goals
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
• Accurately document patient progress, interventions, and responses in the clinical record
• Educate patients and families on safe mobility techniques, home programs, and fall prevention
• Maintain equipment safety and ensure a comfortable, therapeutic environment for patients

Qualifications

• Current status as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) — class indicated as PTA
• Relevant clinical experience working with adult and/or geriatric rehab populations preferred
• Basic life support certification (BLS/CPR) preferred or willing to obtain upon hire
• Ability to pass facility onboarding requirements and background checks

Education

• Associate degree or accredited PTA program completion (PTA credential)

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in therapeutic exercise, functional training, and mobility assistance
• Comfortable with patient documentation and electronic medical records
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Good clinical judgment and ability to follow established care plans
• Team-oriented mindset with a focus on safe, evidence-based care
