Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide quality physical therapy services to residents in a skilled nursing facility
• Implement treatment plans developed by Physical Therapists to help patients improve mobility and function
• Document patient progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety techniques

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in Tennessee (or willingness to obtain)
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program
• New graduates are welcome to apply
• Previous SNF experience is a plus but not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and therapeutic exercise
• Ability to document accurately in electronic medical records
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
