Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare and verify sterile compounded preparations with strict adherence to aseptic technique and safety protocols
• Perform non-sterile and hazardous drug compounding following institutional and regulatory standards
• Collaborate closely with neonatal and pediatric care teams to ensure accurate, weight-based dosing and safe medication handling
• Operate and maintain pharmacy automation and IV workflow systems such as Pyxis and DoseEdge to support safe medication distribution
• Document compounding, dispensing and workflow activities in Meditech and Compounding 360 accurately and promptly
• Support department policies and participate in quality assurance, infection control and medication safety initiatives
• Educate and mentor staff on compounding best practices and unit-specific procedures to elevate team performance

Qualifications

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required as stated in the posting
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (as listed)
• Demonstrated experience with neonatal and pediatric medication preparation
• Advanced sterile compounding experience required
• Familiarity with hazardous drug compounding practices

• Strong medication safety, accuracy and attention to detail
