Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist the orthodontist during exams and procedures, ensuring a smooth patient flow
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatory rooms for each patient visit
- Take and process dental impressions, X-rays, and intraoral scans as needed
- Maintain accurate electronic patient records using Denticon
- Provide patients with clear post-procedure care instructions and oral hygiene guidance
- Collaborate with the dental team to deliver exceptional, compassionate care
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid Orthodontic Dental Assistant certification
- Experience with Denticon dental software is required
- Strong patient care and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced orthodontic environment
Knowledge & Skills
- In-depth knowledge of orthodontic instruments and procedures
- Proficient in dental charting and patient records management
- Skilled in sterilization and infection control protocols
- Familiarity with Denticon and other dental practice software
- Excellent interpersonal skills for patient education and team collaboration
