Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist orthodontists during procedures, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience for patients
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to maintain a safe clinical environment
- Take and process dental X-rays and impressions with precision
- Educate patients on orthodontic care and oral hygiene, answering questions with warmth
- Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment plans
- Collaborate with the dental team to deliver exceptional, personalized care
Qualifications
- Must be Orthodontic Certified (required)
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant, specifically in orthodontics
- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and chairside support
- Knowledge of Denticon or similar dental software is a plus
- CPR/BLS certification (preferred)
Knowledge & Skills
- In-depth understanding of orthodontic procedures and instruments
- Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental office
- Commitment to maintaining strict sterilization standards
