Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to a diverse PCU/IMC patient population, including cardiac, neuro, oncology, and post-surgical patients
• Monitor and titrate cardiac drips, insulin, ativan, and heparin infusions based on patient response
• Float across multiple units and facilities within Zone 1, adapting quickly to different environments and patient needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in EPIC
• Serve as a resource for other nursing staff and participate in patient education

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
• Minimum 2 years of PCU/IMC experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA)
• Experience with cardiac drips, insulin, and ativan administration
• Comfortable titrating vasoactive and antiarrhythmic medications
• Experience with EPIC charting system preferred
• Neuro experience preferred
