Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents with daily activities like bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
• Monitor and record vital signs, and report any changes to the nursing team
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and repositioning to keep them safe and comfortable
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for residents and staff
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support
• Document care accurately and follow each resident's individualized care plan

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
• A caring, patient-centered attitude and strong communication skills
• Ability to assist with lifting, transferring, and positioning residents
• Must bring a state or federal issued ID and wear a photo badge while on duty
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing assistant procedures and care standards
• Skill in taking and recording vital signs accurately
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Understanding of resident confidentiality and HIPAA
• Time management skills to complete care duties efficiently
