Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist with mobility, positioning, and transfers to ensure safety and comfort.
• Take and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing team.
• Support residents with daily activities and encourage independence where possible.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment.
• Collaborate with nurses and healthcare staff to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania.
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain).
• Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred, but not required.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• A genuine passion for helping others.

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong observation and communication skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and document accurately.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology and vital signs.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
