Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to maintain a safe environment
• Take and develop dental x-rays with precision and care
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment scheduling
• Provide exceptional support to both the dental team and patients, making every visit comfortable

Qualifications

• Certification or diploma from an accredited dental assisting program
• Current CPR certification (BLS) preferred
• Prior experience in a dental office is a plus, but we welcome new grads
• Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
• Proficiency with dental software and digital x-ray systems
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Attention to detail and a focus on infection control
• A warm, friendly demeanor that puts patients at ease
