Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist pediatric dentists during procedures, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience for young patients
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and treatment rooms
• Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
• Educate children and parents on proper oral hygiene practices
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with charting
• Help create a warm, welcoming atmosphere that puts kids at ease

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or willingness to obtain certification
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience working with children in a dental or healthcare setting is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and terminology
• Proficiency with dental software and digital imaging
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Compassionate and patient with children
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
