Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver thorough dental cleanings and preventive care to patients
• Assess patients' oral health and document findings accurately
• Take and process dental X-rays as needed
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive techniques
• Assist the dentist during procedures and ensure a comfortable patient experience
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and organized operatory

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Pennsylvania
• Current CPR/BLS certification required
• Previous experience in a dental practice preferred, but new grads welcome
• Strong patient communication and chairside manner
• Ability to work flexible per diem shifts as needed

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Proficiency in taking and interpreting dental radiographs
• Familiarity with infection control and OSHA standards
• Experience with electronic dental record systems
• Excellent interpersonal skills and patient education techniques
