Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care including cleanings and preventive treatments
• Assess patients' oral health and identify potential issues early
• Take and process dental X-rays with precision and care
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and healthy habits
• Apply fluoride treatments and sealants to protect teeth
• Maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with the dental team

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Pennsylvania
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Excellent communication skills and a gentle, caring approach
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Experience with digital radiography is a plus
• Commitment to infection control and patient safety

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instrumentation
• Proficiency in taking and interpreting dental X-rays
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
• Skills in patient assessment and treatment planning
• Excellent interpersonal skills for patient education
