Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist oral surgeons during surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile and organized environment
• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for each patient visit
• Take and develop dental X-rays as directed
• Provide compassionate patient care and educate patients on post-operative instructions
• Sterilize and maintain dental equipment and supplies
• Document patient information and assist with charting

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent training
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• X-ray certification and experience with dental radiography
• Prior experience in oral surgery or surgical assisting is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental terminology and surgical instruments
• Familiarity with dental software and patient management systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to anticipate the needs of the surgeon and team
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
