Shift Type: Varied 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM), also possible 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 9:00 AM - 7:30 PM, or 11:00 AM - 9:30 PM); includes 4 call shifts per 6-week period (mix of weeknights and weekends)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional perioperative care as a circulating nurse in our 10-suite OR
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs in a fast-paced environment
• Prepare the OR and ensure sterile field integrity for surgeries
• Monitor patients throughout their surgical journey, ensuring safety and comfort
• Assist with orthopedic and spine cases using advanced robotics like Da Vinci, Rosa, and Mako
• Document and chart in EPIC with precision and efficiency

Qualifications

• Active RN license (you'll need to submit it)
• BLS certification from AHA (required)
• 2+ years of Operating Room experience
• Ortho and Spine surgical experience required
• EPIC charting experience (a plus)
• Experience with robotics (Da Vinci, Rosa, Mako) preferred
• Scrubbing experience is a nice bonus, but not mandatory

Knowledge & Skills

• Deep understanding of surgical asepsis and sterile technique
• Proficiency in EPIC electronic health record
• Familiarity with orthopedic and spine procedures
• Ability to adapt to a variety of shifts and call schedules
• Strong teamwork and communication skills in the OR
• Knowledge of surgical instrumentation and case preparation
