Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional nursing care to critically ill patients in ICU and CCU settings
• Float across Zone 2 to care for patients in PCU/Stepdown and Med-Surg Telemetry as needed
• Step in to support as a CNA or sitter during low census to help meet patient care hours
• Assess, monitor, and document patient status using EPIC charting system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, evidence-based care
• Respond quickly to changing patient conditions and emergencies

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license or compact license required
• 2+ years of ICU/CCU nursing experience
• ACLS and BLS (AHA) certifications required
• NIHSS certification required
• Experience with EPIC documentation preferred
• Comfortable floating to PCU/Stepdown and Med-Surg Telemetry units
• BSN not required; ADN welcome

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong critical care and cardiac care knowledge
• Proficient in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS protocols
• Comfortable with floating and adapting to different unit needs
• Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record
• Good communication and teamwork skills
