Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to adult and geriatric patients across a variety of medical-surgical and telemetry units
• Float seamlessly between multiple facilities within the 60-mile Zone 4 region, including Garden City, Dodge City, and Ulysses
• Monitor cardiac rhythms on telemetry and act quickly to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, including titrating heparin drips, and manage IV therapies safely
• Collaborate with charge nurses, physicians, and the healthcare team to create positive patient outcomes
• Document accurately in EPIC and adapt quickly to diverse patient populations from neuro to oncology, ortho, and ED observation

Qualifications

• Active RN license with compact or willingness to obtain Kansas license
• Minimum 2 years of MS-Tele experience within the last 3 years
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA preferred)
• Willingness to float throughout a 60-mile zone and adapt to different facility staffing needs
• Prior neuro experience is a plus
• Experience with EPIC and Alaris preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in cardiac telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
• Strong assessment skills across multiple patient populations
• Knowledge of heparin titration and common IV drips
• Familiarity with EPIC charting and Alaris IV pumps
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, floating environment
• Excellent communication and adaptability
