Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts, rotating schedule including weekends (6-9 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality care to a diverse mix of ICU patients across multiple facilities
- Manage ventilators, titrate critical drips (pressors, sedation, paralytics, antiarrhythmics) with confidence
- Interpret telemetry rhythm strips and respond swiftly to changes in patient status
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including intensivists, RTs, and charge nurses to optimize outcomes
- Float between ICU, PCU/Stepdown, and Med-Surg Tele units as needed, bringing your expertise wherever it's needed
- Act as a patient advocate, ensuring safety and comfort during critical moments
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Colorado or compact state (NLC) - must obtain before start
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience (3+ years preferred for first-time travelers)
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA preferred)
- Experience with EPIC charting system
- Comfortable titrating all critical drips and managing ventilator settings
- Prior travel experience is a plus, but not required
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in caring for combination ICU patients (MICU, SICU, TICU, CVICU)
- Proficiency with CRRT, IABP, and Impella devices
- Strong telemetry interpretation skills and ability to work independently
- Ability to float between different acuity levels and facilities seamlessly
- Excellent communication and adaptability in fast-paced environments
