Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during patient evaluations and procedures
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and operatories
• Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
• Help with fitting and removing braces and other orthodontic appliances
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and care
• Maintain accurate patient records using Denticon software

Qualifications

• Orthodontic Dental Assistant Certification required
• Previous dental assisting experience, preferably in orthodontics
• Proficiency with Denticon dental software is a plus
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and terminology
• Skilled in taking dental X-rays
• Familiarity with dental practice management software
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
