Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 12:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Candidate Pay Rate: $35 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist orthodontist during exams and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms following infection control protocols
- Take and mount dental X-rays and intraoral photos as directed
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care instructions
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with office workflow
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification in Maryland (RDA or CDA)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- X-ray certification required (Maryland state certification)
- Previous orthodontic or dental assisting experience preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-first attitude
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of orthodontic instruments, materials, and procedures
- Proficiency with dental software and digital X-ray systems
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment
