Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered occupational therapy assessments and interventions to help individuals regain independence in daily living activities
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and clinical findings
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to ensure comprehensive, coordinated patient care
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
• Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques, equipment, and home exercise programs
• Adapt interventions to meet the physical, emotional, and cultural needs of each patient

Qualifications

• Active California Occupational Therapist license required
• NBCOT certification required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum of 1-2 years of occupational therapy experience preferred
• Acute care or hospital-based experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of occupational therapy assessment and treatment techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Effective time management and clinical documentation skills
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
