Shift Type: Block scheduling with flexibility, every other weekend required

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct independent evaluations and create personalized treatment plans for acute inpatient patients
Facilitate early mobilization to improve patient outcomes and recovery
Assess mobility status and determine safe discharge planning or rehabilitation needs
Provide specialized care for medical, surgical, and orthopedic patients across ICU, IMC, and general floors
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient recovery and functional independence

Qualifications

Current Colorado Occupational Therapy license required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Ability to work independently with diverse patient populations
Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills

Knowledge & Skills

Acute inpatient occupational therapy expertise
ICU, medical, surgical, and orthopedic patient care experience
Stroke recovery and mobility assessment skills
Discharge planning and rehabilitation coordination
Independent clinical judgment and patient safety evaluation
