Nursing Director - Inpatient Care
Location: York, Maine

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday through Friday, day shift
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $91 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily operations of medical/surgical units and ICU
- Ensure high-quality, safe nursing care for patients and families
- Manage human resources and financial performance for your departments
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to implement policies and procedures
- Assume 24-hour accountability for patient care activities and service operations
- Champion comprehensive patient and family services through effective team participation
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Bachelor's degree in nursing required; Master's degree in nursing preferred
- Current RN license in Maine or active compact license in good standing
- Specialty and leadership certification preferred
- Previous nursing management or director experience strongly desired
Education
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Bachelor's degree in nursing required
- Master's degree in nursing preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Financial management and budgeting expertise
- ACLS and BLS/BCLS certification required
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and quality improvement
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
