Location: St. Louis, MO

Start Date: 04-22-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Variable schedule, 5-hour shifts (orientation provided). Exact days/times to be confirmed with hiring manager.

Candidate Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist providers during patient visits by preparing rooms and equipment
Take and document vital signs accurately and efficiently
Perform clinical tasks such as basic wound care, injections or specimen collection as directed
Maintain organized, up-to-date patient records and charting in the clinic system
Greet and support patients with professionalism, empathy and clear communication
Coordinate with the care team to ensure a smooth patient experience and timely follow-up

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA) preferred
CPR/BLS certification required or willing to obtain
Comfortable working in an outpatient clinic setting; prior MA experience is a plus but new grads are welcome
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
Ability to pass background checks and any facility-required screenings

Education

High school diploma or GED required
Medical Assistant certification (preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled at taking vital signs and documenting clinical information accurately
Strong patient communication and customer service abilities
Familiarity with electronic medical records and basic computer skills
Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy clinic environment
Basic clinical skills such as phlebotomy or injections (preferred)
