Location: Bismarck, North Dakota

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, rotating shifts starting between 7:30 AM and 9:00 AM (0730-1600, 0800-1630, 0830-1700, 0900-1730)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare sterile fields and assist physicians during urology procedures
Place and manage catheters for patients with BPH, hematuria, UTIs, and other urological conditions
Provide compassionate nursing care to 33-40 patients daily alongside a dedicated team
Perform cystoscopy assistance and prostate biopsy support
Collaborate with lead urology nurse and clinic administrator to ensure smooth clinic operations
Float to other specialty clinics as needed, maintaining same scope of practice

Qualifications

Active LPN/LVN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
Must be willing to comply with 50-mile radius rule
No prior perm or PRN work at any CHI St. Alexius Health facility in the last 12 months

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in sterile field setup and catheter placement
Knowledge of common urology diagnoses: BPH, hematuria, UTI, LUTS
Ability to assist with cystoscopy and prostate biopsies
Comfortable with rotating start times and a fast-paced clinic environment
