Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem / As-needed (days vary), 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM day

Hours per Week: 38

Candidate Pay Rate: $30 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to assigned residents
Assess and monitor patient status, reporting changes promptly
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Document care and clinical observations clearly in the medical record
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and follow care plans
Educate residents and families about care, medications, and discharge planning
Support safe transitions of care and escalate concerns when needed

Qualifications

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) credential
Current, unrestricted licensure to practice in the state where the assignment is located
Clinical experience in long-term care, rehab, or acute care preferred
Strong communication skills and comfort with electronic charting
Demonstrated ability to work independently on per-diem assignments

Education

Graduate of an accredited LPN or RN nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Solid fundamentals in patient assessment and basic nursing procedures
Medication administration and accurate documentation
Infection control practices and safe patient handling
Comfortable collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
Able to prioritize, multitask, and maintain attention to detail
