Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM day shift

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $30 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with facility standards
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Perform timely patient assessments and document findings clearly
Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and the care team to coordinate care plans
Educate patients and families on care needs, discharge planning, and follow-up
Respond promptly to patient needs and clinical changes to ensure safety
Maintain professional standards, infection control practices, and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

Active LPN or RN license (current and in good standing) appropriate to the role
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS/PALS as required by unit
Clinical experience in acute care or long-term care settings preferred
Strong communication skills and a patient-first mindset
Ability to work independently on per diem assignments and integrate quickly with the team

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (LPN diploma or RN diploma/ADN/BSN depending on role)

Knowledge & Skills

Solid knowledge of nursing assessments, medication administration, and documentation
Comfortable with electronic health records and accurate charting
Skilled in prioritization, time management, and clinical decision-making
Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
Team player who thrives in fast-paced clinical environments
