Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate bedside nursing care to patients as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Administer medications and treatments safely and document them accurately
- Perform timely and thorough patient assessments and report changes
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and care team members to support patient goals
- Maintain accurate, professional documentation in the patient record
- Follow infection control, safety, and facility policies to protect patients and staff
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential (required)
- Active authorization to practice in North Carolina (necessary for assignment)
- Comfortable working per diem evening shifts (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM)
- Reliable, compassionate, and able to communicate clearly with patients and team members
- Resume with recent clinical experience and verification of licensure
Education
- LPN/Vocational Nursing diploma or equivalent (aligned with LPN licensure)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong fundamentals in medication administration and wound care
- Solid patient assessment and vital-sign monitoring skills
- Accurate charting and attention to clinical detail
- Good communication and teamwork in a fast-paced healthcare setting
- Ability to follow protocols for infection control and patient safety
