Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct resident care and support activities of daily living with dignity
• Assist nursing team with safe transfers, ambulation, and mobility support
• Monitor residents and report changes in condition promptly to clinical staff
• Document care accurately and timely in the resident record and communicate with team members
• Support meal assistance, personal hygiene, and comfort measures with respect and patience
• Participate in team huddles and contribute to a positive, resident-centered care environment
• Adhere to infection control, safety policies, and facility-specific procedures at all times

Qualifications

• Current and active LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) certification or equivalent
• CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings/ immunizations
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented attitude
• Reliable, professional, and committed to resident-focused care

Education

• High school diploma or GED required
• LNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in ADLs (activities of daily living) support and basic patient care
• Familiarity with documentation practices and electronic or paper charting
• Ability to follow care plans and report clinical observations accurately
• Good infection control practices and understanding of safety protocols
• Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with residents, families, and staff
