Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and polish patients' teeth to maintain oral health
• Examine patients' oral cavities for signs of gum disease, cavities, and other dental issues
• Take and develop dental X-rays to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Apply fluoride treatments and sealants to protect teeth
• Document patient care and update dental records accurately
• Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and equipment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Pennsylvania (required)
• Current CPR/BLS certification (required)
• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• New graduates are welcome to apply!

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and best practices
• Proficiency in taking and processing dental X-rays
• Understanding of infection control and sterilization protocols
• Familiarity with dental charting software
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to make patients feel at ease
• Attention to detail and manual dexterity
