Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care, including cleanings and periodontal therapy
• Educate patients on oral health and preventive care techniques
• Take and analyze dental X-rays to support accurate diagnoses
• Partner with the dentist to deliver personalized treatment plans
• Maintain strict sterilization standards and infection control protocols
• Document patient care thoroughly and communicate effectively with the team

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Dental Hygienist license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to deliver compassionate, high-quality care

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in dental hygiene procedures and patient assessment
• Knowledge of dental radiography and digital imaging
• Understanding of OSHA and infection control standards
• Skilled in patient education and preventive care counseling
• Detail-oriented with excellent documentation habits
