Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and oral health assessments
• Educate patients on proper brushing, flossing, and preventive care
• Take and develop dental X-rays to aid in diagnosis
• Apply fluoride treatments and sealants to protect teeth
• Document patient care and update medical histories accurately
• Collaborate with dentists and staff to deliver top-notch patient care

Qualifications

• Current Dental Hygienist license in Massachusetts
• CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Comfortable working with digital X-ray and dental software
• A passion for promoting oral health and making patients smile

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of periodontal disease and treatment
• Proficient in dental prophylaxis and scaling/root planing
• Ability to manage multiple patients in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with a focus on infection control
