Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform dental cleanings and patient education
• Assist dentists with procedures and maintain patient records
• Sterilize equipment and ensure a clean, safe environment
• Take and develop dental x-rays as needed
• Screen patients for oral diseases and provide preventive care

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• CPR certification required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently with attention to detail

Education

• Associate degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in dental hygiene techniques and instruments
• Knowledge of infection control protocols
• Familiarity with dental software and record-keeping
• Excellent patient care and education skills
