Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional dental hygiene care to patients of all ages
- Perform cleanings, scaling, and polishing to keep smiles healthy
- Take and develop dental X-rays with precision
- Educate patients on preventive oral care techniques
- Assist the dentist during exams and procedures
- Maintain meticulous patient records and documentation
- Follow strict infection control and safety protocols
- Create a warm, comfortable environment for every patient
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania Dental Hygienist license
- Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Excellent communication skills and a caring bedside manner
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instruments
- Strong attention to detail and clinical accuracy
- Familiarity with dental software and record-keeping
- Understanding of sterilization and infection control standards
- Great interpersonal skills to connect with patients
