Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide thorough dental cleanings and oral hygiene instruction to patients
• Assist the dentist during exams and procedures as needed
• Document patient care and update health histories accurately
• Educate patients on proper brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment area to ensure patient safety
• Take and develop dental X-rays following safety protocols

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Georgia
• Current CPR certification
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in dental hygiene procedures and instrumentation
• Knowledge of infection control and sterilization standards
• Experience with dental software and digital X-ray systems
• Excellent interpersonal skills and patient-centered approach
