Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of pediatric dental procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
• Take and develop dental x-rays with precision
• Provide friendly, compassionate care to young patients
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-operative care

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent training is a plus
• Current CPR certification preferred
• Experience working in a dental office, especially pediatrics, is ideal
• Strong communication skills and a warm, patient-friendly demeanor
• Ability to work efficiently and adapt to a fast-paced environment
• Radiography license or certification as required by state

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques
• Proficiency with dental practice management software
• Understanding of infection control protocols
• Chairside assistance expertise
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
