Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist pediatric dentists during exams and procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies
• Sterilize and disinfect equipment following safety protocols
• Take and develop dental X-rays
• Educate young patients on proper oral hygiene in a fun way
• Manage patient records and update dental charts
• Provide comfort and reassurance to anxious children

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent training
• Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred)
• Experience working with children in a dental setting (nice to have)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Radiography/x-ray certification where applicable
• A passion for pediatric dentistry and patient care

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
• Proficiency in dental software and record keeping
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Compassionate approach to patient care
• Attention to infection control standards
• Ability to work effectively in a team
