Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to residents in a skilled nursing facility
- Assist patients in achieving functional goals to improve their quality of life
- Collaborate with a dedicated therapy team to develop individualized treatment plans
- Document patient progress accurately and timely
- Maintain productivity standards in a supportive environment
Qualifications
- Current COTA certification in New Mexico or compact eligibility
- 1-3 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices
- Familiarity with rehabilitation documentation and regulations
- Compassionate patient care approach
- Time management and organizational skills
