Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care including assistance with activities of daily living
Monitor and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
Assist with safe patient transfers, mobility, and positioning
Support nurses and interdisciplinary team members with timely communication
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
Document patient care clearly and timely in assigned charting systems

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant)
Valid authorization to practice as a CNA in California or eligibility to obtain state certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
Comfortable working overnight/night shift hours
Strong communication skills and a patient-focused attitude
Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in assisting with ADLs (bathing, dressing, feeding)
Knowledge of basic patient safety, mobility and fall prevention
Accurate vital sign measurement and documentation
Understanding of infection prevention and standard precautions
Familiarity with bedside charting and following care plans
