Roles & Responsibilities

• Implement individualized therapy interventions following the OT plan of care
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
• Educate patients and families to support functional independence
• Communicate patient status and updates to the supervising occupational therapist
• Follow all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Active state COTA license, or ability to obtain before start
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills
• Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

• Occupational therapy interventions and treatment plans
• Patient care and functional independence training
• Accurate documentation and progress reporting
• Clear communication and teamwork
• Safety protocols and infection control
