Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing facility
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve daily living skills
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care
• Document patient progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic activities and home exercises
• Contribute to a positive and healing environment for residents

Qualifications

• Current and active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Montana
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a COTA in a rehab or skilled nursing setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices
• Skilled in therapeutic exercises and activities for geriatric population
• Proficient in documentation and electronic medical records
• Strong time management and organizational abilities
• Adaptable to changing patient needs and schedules
