Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living — bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility support
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing team promptly
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care that preserves dignity and comfort
• Document care accurately and timely in patient records
• Support admissions, discharges and safe patient transfers
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control procedures
• Collaborate with nurses and clinical staff to deliver coordinated care

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (required)
• State CNA registry in good standing (preferred: Pennsylvania registration)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and meet facility immunization requirements
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work night shifts
• Strong communication skills and a caring bedside manner

Education

• CNA certification (required)
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamental patient care and ADL assistance
• Vital signs monitoring and basic clinical observations
• Basic charting and documentation practices
• Infection control principles and safe patient handling
• Teamwork, communication, and time management
• Compassionate patient interaction and emotional support skills
