Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility safely and respectfully
Take and record vital signs and report any changes in condition to nursing staff
Document care accurately and timely to ensure continuity and quality of care
Support a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
Collaborate with nurses and the care team to implement care plans and improve outcomes

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification in New Mexico
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Up-to-date immunizations and health clearance as required by facility
Compassionate, patient-focused attitude and strong communication skills

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Completion of an approved CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on resident care and ADL assistance
Vital signs monitoring and basic clinical observations
Infection control and safe patient handling techniques
Accurate charting and basic electronic health record familiarity
Teamwork, time management, and effective communication with residents and families
