Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to patients, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
• Assist with safe transfers, mobility, and positioning to promote patient comfort
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and observations
• Support infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe environment
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and staff to deliver coordinated patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential in good standing
• Eligible for or possess state CNA authorization for New Mexico
• Comfortable working night shifts and a Thursday–Saturday schedule
• Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude
• Ability to pass facility-required background check and health screenings

Education

• Completion of an accredited CNA training program
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient care and assistance with ADLs
• Vital signs monitoring and basic clinical observations
• Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
• Basic charting and documentation best practices
• Infection prevention and control procedures
• Teamwork, time management, and clear communication with clinical staff
