Roles & Responsibilities

• Support and scrub for interventional procedures including LHC, PCI, PVI, PPM, EPS, IR and neuro cases
• Prepare, calibrate and operate Philips and Siemens imaging equipment for procedures
• Document procedures and patient care accurately in Meditech and MacLab
• Monitor patients intra-procedure and assist with safe patient transfer and recovery
• Ensure radiation safety and proper operation of panning x-ray table during cases
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses and techs to deliver high-quality cardiac care
• Mentor and educate less-experienced staff to build a confident, skilled team

Qualifications

• ARRT, BLS and ACLS required
• RCIS required (panning x-ray table experience required)
• Interventional Cath Lab experience required (experience listed as 1 year)
• EP and neuro experience preferred — candidates with these skills will be considered first
• Comfortable with on-call scheduling and some Saturday coverage

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong familiarity with cardiac cath lab workflows and interventional procedures
• Proficient with Meditech and MacLab electronic medical records
• Experience with Philips and Siemens imaging systems
• Knowledge of radiation safety and panning x-ray table operation
• Ability to support complex cases (PVI, PPM, EPS, LHC, PCI, IR, neuro) and troubleshoot in real time
• Excellent teamwork, communication and patient-care skills
