Shift Type: Monday-Thursday, 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM; Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM; Saturday, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM (flexible scheduling; some evening/weekend hours may be required; 37.5 hours per week)

Hours per Week: 40

Bill Rate: Full License: Hourly $29.47 - $39.67; Limited License: Hourly $27.22 - $36.63

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide direct clinical services, including intake evaluations and individual and group therapy for adults and families
  • Assess and document client needs using Person-Centered Planning principles for outpatient mental health and co-occurring substance abuse services
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care physicians, school personnel, and other family or support providers to ensure comprehensive care
  • Meet all contractual requirements of funding sources and agency, including maintaining State licensure
  • Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and case consultations
  • Complete clinical records and agency documentation in a timely manner, following professional code of ethics
  • Coordinate effective discharge planning before case closure and complete 24 hours of training in treating adults with mental health and/or co-occurring disorders

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling with corresponding State of Michigan licensure (required)
  • Candidates must obtain the Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) credential within 120 days of hire
  • At least one year of experience (including fieldwork or internship) treating or working with people diagnosed with mental illness
  • Ability to work independently with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills to track and prepare data accurately and timely
  • Cultural competency and ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including engaging and maintaining therapeutic relationships with youth and families
  • Must not require visa sponsorship; candidates on student/work visas cannot be accepted

Education

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling
