Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to medical-surgical patients
• Assess, plan, and implement nursing interventions tailored to each patient's unique needs
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and track patient progress
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Document care accurately and respond quickly to changes in patient condition

Qualifications

• Active RN license in South Carolina (or compact license where applicable)
• Current BLS certification from AHA or equivalent
• Previous Med/Surg or acute care nursing experience is strongly preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment
• A genuine passion for helping people heal

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of medical-surgical nursing principles
• Proficiency in medication administration and IV therapy
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a dynamic setting
• Compassionate, empathetic approach to patient care
